My favourite Indian restaurant, outstanding food and exceptional friendly service. I visit weekly with family, friends and neighbours whether eat in or take away, great offers too! I highly recommend Ishta to anyone and everyone I meet :)

This is the best curry house in Manchester. The friendly and welcoming service is outstanding and cater to your every need. The food is fantastic.

Very good. Surprising great quality at a very reasonable price. Their lunch deal can't be beaten, and puts other local Indian restaurants to shame. My food last night was simply delicious with a great balance of spice, flavour and melt in the mouth chicken. I highly recommend this restaurant and have heard many positive comments from my friends and others who have been. Parking is relatively easy in the evenings, or at the new stamford quarter car park during the day is only a short walk away

We have sampled the excellent food from Ishta many times both in the restaurant and for lots of very reasonably priced take-aways. We have never, ever, been disappointed as the food is always freshly prepared and delicious and the staff go out of their way to ensure everything is perfect. Give it a try - you'll be back again and again after your first visit.

I have visited this restaurant 3 times since it opened and have been more and more pleased every time I have been! Staff recognise me everytime I go in and cant do enough to help you. Food is incredible with some really unusual dishes on the menu, not your bog standard Indian. Just a pity that Ishta seems to be suffering from the bad press that Shere Khan received.
Cant recommend more highly!

I went to Ishta at the last minute as i was working in the area and it was recommended by a friend. What can i say, food was great, waiters very friendly and made me feel welcome.

I had a fantastic meal here. We came down late on a Monday night (after playing football - not the normal time we dine!) and found the welcome warm and friendly.
The guys were quick to bring out all the dishes we ordered and the food was out of this world. Only slight problem was we couldnt eat it all! Delicious Saag Aloo and Naans, but the main event was perfect, all dishes well presented, packed full of flavour and made with good quality ingredients.
Overall an excellent experience!

I recently was attending a business meeting and came across Ishta accidentally. The food and service was first class the the prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommended.

Just returned from a fabulous meal at Ishta. The service and quality of the food is much improved from when this restaurant was Shere Khan. We had the Sunday Buffet Special - 5 courses for £9.95 and I couldn't fault anything. I shall definitely be back.
